Welcome
If you’ve landed here, chances are something in your body or life just isn’t feeling quite right. Maybe it's a persistent ache in your lower back, a chronic injury that’s limiting your movement, or a quiet inner knowing that things could be better. Perhaps you're feeling stuck in your work, disconnected from your joy, or simply yearning for deeper alignment and peace.
Whatever has brought you here, I’m truly glad you’ve arrived. Reaching out is a powerful first step—and one that already initiates the process of healing. I’m here to walk alongside you in that journey.
At Rivera Integrative Design, we create a compassionate and therapeutic space where bodywork, integrative movement, and holistic lifestyle practices come together to support your healing and growth. Rooted in the CHEK Institute philosophy, our approach recognizes that the body is a system of systems—and that true well-being comes from addressing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of the self.
This work is not a quick fix, and it’s not one-size-fits-all.
It’s a personalized journey — grounded in deep assessment, thoughtful guidance, and real human connection.
As a CHEK Practitioner, I draw from a truly holistic model: combining movement, lifestyle, nutrition, emotional well-being, and purpose-driven coaching. Together, we’ll explore the roots of imbalance and create a path forward that supports your whole self.
This is about more than just “getting better.”
It’s about coming back into alignment — with your body, your energy, your life. The human body is extraordinary in its ability to heal, adapt, and transform. I am here to support that process with care, skill, and presence—so that you can return to the fullest expression of yourself: grounded, whole, and free.
Nick Rivera, LMT - Founder
Hi, I’m Nick Rivera—a CHEK Practitioner and licensed massage therapist based in Santa Fe. I support busy professionals who are feeling overwhelmed, in pain, and disconnected from their bodies—people who are ready to slow down, heal deeply, and make meaningful changes that last.
If you’re new to holistic health or movement, you’re in the right place. Many of the people I work with have tried everything—from physical therapy to medication—and still feel stuck. My approach is different. Through therapeutic massage, corrective exercise/movement, and personalized lifestyle coaching, I help you reconnect with your body in a way that feels empowering, supportive, and sustainable.
My journey started back in high school, as the captain of my wrestling team in Brooklyn, NY. That early love for movement led me into strength training and personal fitness coaching by 2009. But it was during my studies in exercise science that everything shifted. I met a mentor—a yogi and professor—who opened my eyes to the deeper layers of healing: mindfulness, breath, nervous system regulation, and the emotional side of physical pain.
That turning point led me to the healing arts. I studied massage therapy at the Swedish Institute in New York City and have since continued growing through practices like Thai massage, Reiki, sound therapy, and the holistic, root-cause approach taught by the CHEK Institute.
As a CHEK Practitioner, I help clients explore the full picture—posture, sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, and emotion—to uncover what’s really keeping them out of balance. And from there, we work together to rebuild a foundation of health that feels aligned, personal, and real.
You don’t have to be flexible, fit, or experienced to begin. You just have to be willing to show up with curiosity and care for yourself. If you're ready to feel more at ease in your body, more clear in your mind, and more connected to the life you want to live—I’d be honored to walk with you on that path.
